The worst part of the vegtards, as Mike calls them, is the way they absolutely savage anyone who presents evidence or stories they don't like. Go read comments on YouTube to anyone talking about how giving up veganism or eating more animal products improved their health.

My wife watched a video from a 20-something woman describing how only by switching to eating meat and fat, after trying years of trying everything else could she get her health back. The comments were so hurtful to this girl, it turned my stomach.

They're hideous people.

I already have the "I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!" button.
Maybe I should get the "Bloodmouth Carnist" t-shirt....
Veganism seems to be the sort of religion that attracts nasty, violent adherents. Or maybe they start out OK, but after a few years of being sick and miserable they come to blame their condition on the presence of unbelievers?

It was put to me once that the evidence is right there in front of us.

Teeth and guts.

We have teeth that no pure carnivore has. We have teeth that no pure herbivore has.

Our digestive tract is too simple to be purely herbivorous and too complex to be purely carnivorous.

We're omnivores! It's a wonderfully flexible way to make sure you survive a dearth of one kind of food or another.

Such a good plan we taught our wolves the trick (and made dog in our image).

The latest thinking on the subject is that humans invented agriculture in order to have a reliable supply of grain to ferment or distill so they could have a drink with their steaks.

And don't forget: deer eat birds!
Even herbivores supplement their diets with meat, as the opportunity presents itself.
